Safer play

Limits, pauses, self-exclusion and independent groups that listen whenever you need to talk.

Lucky Boom belongs to MAIREKE LIMITADA (Costa Rica) and is licensed by the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority; the site terms follow Anjouan law. The licence is offshore, not national, so confirm that online gambling is legal where you are before playing.

Our commitment

Each Lucky Boom page shows an 18+ badge and a link to begambleaware.org. Play only with money you can lose, and don't try to win losses back.

Tools available to you

• Self-exclusion: ask by email from your registered address; it starts within 24 hours and locks you out for six months minimum.
• Cooling-off: a seven-day pause whenever you ask.
• Session awareness: watch how long you play and what you've spent, and step away now and then.
• Parental control: tips for keeping devices and passwords away from children.

Know the signs

Time for a pause, or to ask for help, if you:

• play longer or stake more than you meant to;
• borrow or skip bills to keep gambling;
• get restless or short-tempered when you try to cut down;
• keep your gambling a secret from those close to you.

Keeping control

• Set a budget and a time limit before you begin.
• See gambling as a paid pastime, never as a way to earn.
• Stay away from gambling when you're upset, worn out or have been drinking.
• Step away regularly and look back over your transactions.

Where to get help

Free, private help is available from these independent groups:

• GamCare — gamcare.org.uk
• Gambling Therapy — gamblingtherapy.org
• Gamblers Anonymous — gamblersanonymous.org
• BeGambleAware — begambleaware.org
